Full Job Description
What Impact You'll Have

Join GRVTY's mission-focused team as a Systems Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in shaping and delivering mission systems for national security customers. You'll work closely with DSP and Software Engineers to translate mission needs into actionable system designs and ensure those solutions are successfully integrated, tested, and delivered.

In this role, you'll operate across the full systems engineering lifecycle - from requirements and CONOP development through integration, verification, validation, and operational support - helping drive mission systems from concept to deployment.

What You'll be Owning
  • Work with stakeholders to define mission needs, CONOPs, and system-level requirements.
  • Decompose high-level requirements into actionable technical requirements for DSP and Software Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system design, integration, and implementation.
  • Support backlog development, roadmap alignment, and sprint planning activities in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Participate in system integration, verification, and validation efforts to ensure solutions meet mission and acceptance criteria.
  • Support development and execution of test plans and procedures.
  • Ensure technical alignment across system components, including software, signal processing, and mission workflows.
  • Contribute to CDRL development, technical documentation, and customer deliverables.
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of system-level issues in operational environments.

What You Must Have
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, system design, integration, and verification/validation.
  • Experience developing and managing technical requirements in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Ability to work closely with Software and DSP Engineers to translate mission needs into implementable solutions.
  • Experience supporting DoD or national security programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including development of technical documentation and customer deliverables.

What Would be Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with RF, DSP, or SIGINT systems.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments and supporting backlog or roadmap activities.
  • Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MBSE tools such as Cameo).
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML.
  • Experience supporting integration and test activities for complex mission systems.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps environments and modern software delivery practices.
