What You Will Be Doing:
As a part of the Sustainment Digital Tools and Engineering (DT&E) team, the teammate will be supporting the multiple platforms across the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics portfolio and more importantly, the warfighters that employ them. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of digital tools and engineering solutions in support of the digital thread across sustainment business, modeling and customer value streams within Lockheed Martin programs. This role requires a background in systems engineering, an understanding of software development, and sustainment operations.
The selectee will also be responsible for:
• Support the requirements decomposition and design implementation using digital thread tools and solutions to support design optimization of sustainment value streams, predictive tools, customer maintenance and supply value stream improvements, and AI/ML integration into existing designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sustainment requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Update and maintain technical roadmaps and acceptance criteria for sustainment digital tools and engineering solutions
• Provide technical problem solving support in design, build, test and validation & verification of the various products.
• Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements and develop use cases for digital tool and engineering solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in sustainment digital tools and engineering solutions, and apply this knowledge to improve Lockheed Martin's sustainment capabilities

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles, documentation, and methodologies
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Git, Jira, and/or Subversion
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement
Desired skills
• Programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn
• Experience with digital thread and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts
• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and Tools (EA, Rhapsody, Simulink, etc.)
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
