Qualifications

  • Proven track record in systems engineering across the complete technical development lifecycle.

  • Strong documentation skills for various audiences, including drafting technical reports.
  • Hands-on experience with validation and testing of technical systems, including developing test plans.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 10%).

Responsibilities

  • Support the technical staff in enhancing capabilities through partnerships with 3rd parties.
  • Draft and assist with contracting processes including Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Facilitate communication with partners to ensure timely and quality product delivery.
  • Develop expertise as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific domains.
  • Secure approvals and conduct field testing for systems under development.
  • Contribute to the deployment approval processes as a technical SME.
  • Coordinate user requirements sessions to engage stakeholders effectively.

Active Top Secret Clearance with Poly Required

Salary Range: Up to $185K **salary is commensurate with education and experience**

Job Summary

The office is responsible for technical analysis; understanding the complexities and risks of denied area technical operations; and applying these two core competencies to the designing, implementing, operating and maintaining of secure, reliable, bespoke network infrastructures and communications solutions. The requirement is for operational support of communications solutions, from review and decision to deployment and decommission. The selected candidates will be responsible for coordinating and managing technical tasks and projects as part of a multi-functional team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support customer's technical staff to broaden technical capabilities through 3rd party contracts and internal partnerships.
  • Draft documentation and support the contracting process through SSJ, SOW, requirements, etc. products.
  • Foster communication between partners to ensure high quality products are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Develop expertise in special areas and serve as a technical SME on designated topics.
  • Secure approvals and conduct field tests of systems under development.
  • Contribute to the approval process for the deployment of technical systems as technical SME.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagements, such as user requirements sessions.
  • Lead technical efforts that support the O&M of deployed systems.


Experience Needed:
  • Citizenship: Must Be a US Citizen
  • Existing Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Poly
  • ***3 Point SCRUB
  • MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE SATCOM AND HARDWARE DESIGN EXPERIENCE.
  • MUST HAVE MANY YEARS AGENCY EXPERIENCE
  • Engineering degree, preferably Electrical degree with 7 to 20 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of complex technical developments involving hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting requirements, engaging 3rd party vendors, managing formal program reviews, generating test plans and guiding troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience with identifying and championing new technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical development on both very short and intermediate timelines.
  • Demonstrated experience with supporting the customers contracting processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer formal documentation systems and strong ability to draft technical documentation for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on-technical validation and testing of technical systems, including test plan development, testing coordination, and test report documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer's approval processes for technical testing and system deployment.
  • Engineering or technical background with strong ability to apply technical domains of RF systems network infrastructure, communication protocols, quality standards, and manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and overseas to support development and deployment of technical systems (travel up to 10%).
