REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)-POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer - Aircraft State ABOUT THE JOB: Be part of a team that is responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
REQUIRED SKILLS: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of Aerospace Industry experience
- Experience in avionics systems requirement development
- Experience in avionics validation
- Experience in avionics integration
- Experience in avionics verification
- Experience with model-based systems design
- Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position and navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS, etc.)
- Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, etc.)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
PREFERRED SKILLS: - Experience with Simulink model-based design
- Experience with Ansys SCADE model-based software development platform
- Experience with ARINC 661 model-based graphics software development
- Experience with Ansys SCADE model-based graphics software development platform
- Familiar with ARP-4754
- Familiar with DO-178
