Full Job Description
Systems Developer

Pay Rate $34-$45/hr

Responsiblefor the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of acustom, enterprise-grade operational system supporting multiple site locations.Owns the technical architecture and day-to-day operations of the system. Worksclosely with operations, production, logistics, and leadership stakeholders totranslate business processes into reliable, auditable, and scalable systemworkflows. Includes requirements gathering, data modeling, workflow automation,system integrations, and ongoing optimization to ensure system performance,accuracy, and usability at scale. Serves as the technical owner of the system,ensuring reliability, data integrity, and alignment with evolving businessneeds while reducing manual processes and operational risk.

Essential Functions
Act as the primary technical owner for the system, including architecture decisions, enhancements, troubleshooting, and long-term maintainability.
Gather and document requirements from operations, production, logistics, and management stakeholders and translate them into functional system designs
Build and maintain automated workflows
Design and manage relational data models to support high-volume transactional workflows and historical tracking
Implement system logic to enforce business rules, timestamps, status transitions, and auditability
Optimize system performance and reliability, including identifying and addressing scripting timeouts, data volume constraints, and workflow bottlenecks
Develop operational and executive-level reporting to provide visibility into the system
Support multiple sites ensuring consistent system behavior across locations
Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and user guidance to ensure effective adoption and correct system usage
Collaborate with internal IT and external vendors as needed to support integrations and infrastructure requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Adobe, Outlook, Webex, TIMS a plus
Ability to translate complex business processes into technical workflows and data structures.
Strong skills in relational data modeling and working with that data (Excel, SQL, etc.)
Strong scripting skills for implementing automations and business logic (Java, Python, etc.)
Effective communications skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and systems-thinking skills.
