Position Duties & Responsibilities- Develop data center infrastructure architectures, designs, standards, and modernization solutions supporting scalable and resilient operations.
- Translate business and mission requirements into target-state infrastructure architectures and phased roadmaps.
- Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with enterprise technical architecture and applicable federal standards.
- Support cost/benefit analyses for architecture options and vendor/technology selections.

QualificationsRequirements - Currently possess or be able to obtain VA Public Trust - High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4 background investigation.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; 8+ years of infrastructure architecture experience.
- Education substitutions (per Peraton Career & Compensation Framework): Master's degree substitutes ~2 years of required experience; Ph.D. substitutes ~5 years of required experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience is acceptable (Associate's degree + 2 additional years also accepted for equivalent professional levels).
Desired Skills, Tools & Certifications - Tools: Architecture modeling tools (MS Visio, ArchiMate, Lucidchart), Nlyte AO/EO, ServiceNow CMDB, AutoCAD, and Power BI.
- Processes: ITIL v4 service management, SAFe Agile / Scrum for iterative delivery, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, and OSHA safety practices.; TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Certifications (desirable): TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, BICSI RCDD, Uptime Institute ATD., ITIL v4 Foundation (Practitioner/Managing Professional a plus), SAFe Practitioner or SAFe DevOps.
Workocation: Austin, TX
Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
