Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Application Analyst 3 for a hybrid contract position in Newport News, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience. Master's Degree and 3 years of experience. Ph.D. and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

- Automation Experience
- Experience with Windows Server OS administration, Linux, networking, maintenance and patch remediation.
- Install, configure, patch, and maintain enterprise applications, middleware (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), and associated web servers (IIS, Apache)
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages; automation tools like Ansible
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
- Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
- Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM. Hybrid position- must be local to Newport News.
HYBADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
