POSITION TITLE: Systems Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY: IMRI is seeking an experienced
Systems Administrator to support and maintain secure, high-performing IT environments across on-premises and Azure cloud systems. This role focuses on managing servers, identity services, and enterprise infrastructure while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and automation using PowerShell, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, implement security controls, and support mission-critical operations in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure (physical, virtual, cloud (Azure), networks, and other IT infrastructure components.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Implement security measures to protect data and systems.
- Automate repetitive tasks with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Lead or perform OS patching and upgrades (Windows Server, RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
- Manage enterprise directory services (Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, etc.)
- Provide technical support and assistance to staff members.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement IT solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5+ years in Windows Server/AD, endpoint management, virtualization (Nutanix/VMware/Hyper-V)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, SSO/SAML/OIDC.
- Experience with Strong PowerShell automation; GPO rationalization and policy migration to Intune.
- Experience with security baselines (CIS/NIST), patching, vulnerability remediation.
- Certifications (preferred): Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), AZ-104 (Azure Admin), SC-300 (Identity & Access), MD-102 (Endpoint), MS-102 (Microsoft 365), ITIL Foundation.
- Proficient in leveraging Microsoft's suite of tools and platforms to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and foster collaboration in a federated IT cloud environment.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing using Azure, enabling scalable and secure solutions.
- Skilled in advanced data analytics with Power BI, providing actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
- Adept at utilizing Microsoft 365 for seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and hybrid identity models.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Experience with Entra Connect (Azure AD Connect), Cloud Sync, and Intune.
- Experience in implementing AI technologies such as machine learning and natural language processing to revolutionize problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience in developing AI-driven solutions that automate routine tasks, improving operational efficiency.
- Proficient in creating personalized customer experiences through AI-powered insights and recommendations.
- Experience in integrating AI with existing systems to enhance overall business performance.
- Experience with Microsoft CoPilot, ServiceNow, and other IT products leveraging artificial intelligence capabilities within their product portfolios.
