What You Will Be Doing:

  • Independently developing technical solutions for the management for software, hardware, configurations, and architecture. Providing interpretation to systems matters that are moderately complex in nature.
  • Providing troubleshooting support for systems hardware and software issues that are highly complex.
  • Performing advance software installations and upgrading to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Applying advanced knowledge in monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Providing guidance to less experienced personnel on workstation/server data integrity matters and the implantation of standard software and hardware solutions.
  • Leading complex data/media recoverability following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
  • Evaluating and assessing existing systems and planning long-term strategies.
  • Configuring and maintaining networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
  • Conducting advanced to complex hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configurations guidelines.
  • Managing large projects with limited oversight from manager.
  • Training end-users on the proper use of hardware and software. May train large groups of end users.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task leader (not a people manager).
  • May require after-hour support or weekend support for mission, program, and special project support.


Required Skills

Must Have:

  • MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    1. Thin Client using Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Technology
    2. Experience and/or knowledgeable with: Windows 11; Windows 10; Citrix; SMS; and SCCM
    3. End User Hardware
    4. Thin Client, Thick Monitors, KVM's, Printers, Plotters Print Server Configurations, VOIP phone,
    5. Desktop Image Management
    6. Home Directory and Profile Support Services
    7. E-mail Support Services
    8. Software Support Services
    9. Experience and/or knowledgeable with; Windows 7; Windows 10; Win11 Citrix; SMS; and SCCM
  • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills (consistently document work completed).
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements.
  • Ability to move and lift computers, printers, monitors, and other hardware.
  • Team player and willing to share knowledge and learn from others to ensure team's success.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to adapt to new and changing technologies.
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Security+ or CASP.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations.


Additional Details

Compensation & Benefits: This position has an anticipated salary range of $107,744 - $143,750 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, education, certifications, and business needs.
