Location: CAN - Milton, Yukon Court Job Posting Title: System Specialist Time Type: Full Time Compensation: Salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, plus eligible benefits, in accordance with experience and internal equity ***This posting is for an existing vacancy and not intended to create a talent pipeline OR This posting is to build a candidate pool for future vacancies in this role*** POSITION SUMMARY The Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery, configuration and continuous improvement of Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions across DSV Canada's customer operations. As a member of the Application & Integration team, this role partners with Operations, Project Management, Global IT, Project Engineering and customer stakeholders to deliver reliable technology solutions that enable efficient, scalable and standardized warehouse operations. Working across both implementation projects and existing customer environments, the Systems Specialist participates throughout the application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support. This position combines technical aptitude with operational understanding to ensure technology solutions effectively support business objectives while aligning with DSV standards and best practices. The Systems Specialist also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance application functionality, streamline operational processes and improve the overall customer experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Analysis & Solution Design 30 Partner with Operations, customers and project stakeholders to understand business requirements, operational workflows and application needs. 30 Translate business requirements into functional system solutions that align with operational objectives and DSV application standards. 30 Develop functional specifications, process documentation and solution recommendations to support implementation activities. 30 Participate in customer workshops, design reviews and solution discussions throughout the project lifecycle. 30 Recommend standardized processes that balance customer requirements with scalable and supportable application solutions. Application Configuration & Solution Delivery 30 Configure, validate and maintain Warehouse Management System functionality based on approved business requirements. 30 Support implementation activities from project initiation through deployment, stabilization and Hypercare. 30 Execute and support Functional Acceptance Testing (FAT), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). 30 Analyze system defects, coordinate issue resolution and validate application enhancements prior to production deployment. 30 Support application releases while ensuring quality, stability and operational readiness. Systems Integration & Interface Management 30 Support the implementation and maintenance of EDI, API and other application interfaces between customer systems and DSV platforms. 30 Gather, document and validate interface requirements in collaboration with customers, Operations and technical teams. 30 Develop and maintain interface mapping documentation, field-level specifications and business rules supporting data exchange. 30 Coordinate interface testing activities and validate inbound and outbound transaction processing. 30 Analyze interface failures, identify root causes and support timely issue resolution. 30 Collaborate with internal development teams, Global IT and external partners to support successful integration delivery. 30 Maintain interface documentation to ensure consistency, traceability and long-term supportability. Application Support & Continuous Improvement 30 Provide functional support for Warehouse Management System applications across multiple customer operations. 30 Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions. 30 Identify opportunities to improve application functionality, user experience and operational efficiency. 30 Support application upgrades, feature enhancements and system optimization initiatives. 30 Maintain application documentation, knowledge articles and standard operating procedures. 6. Stakeholder Engagement 30 Act as the functional liaison between Operations, customers, Global IT and technical integration teams. 30 Communicate application and interface status throughout project delivery. 30 Facilitate discussions regarding business requirements, application functionality and systems integration. 30 Support customer readiness through functional demonstrations, testing coordination and knowledge transfer. 30 Promote DSV application governance and integration standards. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education 30 Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related discipline. 30 Equivalent combinations of education, professional certifications and relevant experience may be considered. 30 Professional certifications related to business analysis, project management or supply chain technology (CBAP, PMI, ITIL or similar) are considered an asset. Experience 30 Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting enterprise applications, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or supply chain technology solutions. 30 Experience gathering, documenting and validating business and functional requirements. 30 Experience supporting customer implementations throughout the project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing and deployment. 30 Experience supporting EDI, API or enterprise application integrations. 30 Experience working within logistics, warehousing, retail, manufacturing or third-party logistics (3PL) environments. 30 Experience facilitating customer workshops, requirements sessions and solution reviews. 30 Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot application issues and recommend sustainable business solutions. 30 Experience supporting multiple projects while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
