SAIC is seeking a Systems Integration Supervisor / Production Manager to lead integration and production activities for the Mobile Command Vehicle (MCV) program in Hanahan, SC.

This role translates customer mission and business requirements into integrated systems designs and oversees day-to-day shop floor operations for complex electronic systems installed in tactical vehicles.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Directly supervises individual contributors (skilled technicians, QC personnel) and/or entry-level professionals. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
  • Leads daily production and integration operations for MCV platforms, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work across technicians and support staff.
  • Translates client business and mission requirements into specific system, application, and process designs for complex IT and C4ISR/C5ISR solutions and oversees implementation on MCVs.
  • Inspects, tests, and troubleshoots integrated electronic, communications, and IT systems on production vehicles to ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and configuration baselines.
  • Coordinates closely with Logistics, Engineering, Quality Control, and Program Management to manage workflow, resolve integration issues, and execute migration/integration plans and schedules.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for installed electronic systems and government-furnished equipment, ensuring proper installation, handling of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI), and adherence to technical procedures.
  • Administers and executes company policies and processes affecting subordinate employees and unit operations, including recommending and implementing changes to improve efficiency, quality, and schedule performance.
  • Interprets and understands engineering, mechanical/fabrication, and cable drawings, as well as electrical schematics.
  • Supports digitalization initiatives (e.g., use of digital work instructions, electronic configuration management, and production/quality tracking tools).


Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of relevant experience
    OR
  • Completion of Navy "C" school or equivalent and Eight (8) years of hands-on experience in the operation, analysis, testing, installation, or maintenance of C4ISR/C5ISR systems similar to those to be managed.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience successfully managing and executing production efforts of similar complexity and scope.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start (SAIC will sponsor/assist).


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply integration and operation manuals.
  • Hands-on electronics integration experience, including installation tasks such as soldering, cable dressing, cable tray/conduit installation, and making/repairing connectors.
  • Experience with handling and procedures for Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) in accordance with applicable DoD/NSA policies.
  • Experience working in a production or depot environment supporting tactical vehicles or C4ISR integration is a plus.
