Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of automotive product development experience with a focus on hybrid or electrified propulsion systems.
• Strong proficiency in English for clear oral and written communication.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office suite and related productivity tools.
• Solid understanding of vehicle propulsion system components including transmissions, axles, drivelines, batteries, and electric motors.
• Hands-on expertise in simulation and coding tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, GT Suite, AMESim, and knowledge of hybrid control and energy management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cross-functional team focused on next-generation propulsion system development.
• Oversee the technical development and refinement of a reference propulsion system.
• Lead risk management and resolve issues in collaboration with internal counterparts, expert networks, and suppliers.
• Direct simulation activities to support the V-development process.
• Interface with teams across engine, controls, transmission, vehicle platform, and powertrain synthesis.
• Drive lessons learned initiatives to update standards, tools, and methodologies.
• Communicate progress and issues through presentations and written reports to engineering leadership and management.
