Position Description: Varmoda is seeking a highly motivated
System Administrator to support ITS's database design, architecture, and development efforts across DSS program areas, ensuring data accuracy, security, and integrity controls. The ideal candidate will have strong server administration experience, along with SIEM, log monitoring, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection expertise. This role will develop design specifications for information security solutions, ensure stability and resiliency of infrastructure, and document vulnerability remediation initiatives to enhance the performance and reliability of ITS-supported systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop design specifications.
- Develop the design for the new proposed information security solutions
- Develop the Design for deployment of high-performance, low-latency technology solutions
- Provide Stability and resiliency in the infrastructure of the solutions
- Develop documentation and reporting
- Develop documentation of new information security solutions
- Participate in various reporting functions, metrics analysis
- Document various vulnerability remediation initiatives and suggest recommendations.
Required QualificationsA minimum of 6 years of experience with the following skill sets:
- Server administration.
- Server security, SIEM and Log, monitoring/management, Vulnerability Management, Risk and Compliance.
- Anti-Virus/Malware, Applicable server and application security log
- Anti-Virus/Malware & Endpoint Protection DLP
