Object Technology Solutions, Inc(OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Systems Administrator
Systems Administrator (Manassas, VA - Onsite)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and (desired) enterprise Nutanix HCI environments
• Support daily operational activities, incident resolution, and customer requests.
• Monitor system health, performance, security, and availability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and backup verification.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues involving servers, storage, networking, and directory services.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to IT standards, compliance requirements, and security policies.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to meet operational and project requirements.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with:
oWindows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration
oVMware virtualization technologies
oDNS and Active Directory services
oSAN/NAS storage and backup solutions (desired)
oEnterprise server hardware in a data center environment
• Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or RHCE.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management best practices.
