Position Summary: The System Administrator Level III role is responsible for providing expert level support for the network and server infrastructure and its security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Network LAN/WAN documentation and planning (on-site and hybrid
environments).
• Extremely detailed oriented and methodical problem solver.
• Respond to network/server outages.
• Monitor all servers for anomalies and issues.
• Monitor network performance and security using available hardware and
software solutions.
• Respond to network/server outages.
• Assist in backup and restore activities.
• Maintain and test the disaster recovery plan, propose modifications when
appropriate.
• Design, build, maintain, backup, and document VMWare environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for Active Directory and
various software applications.
• Install, maintain, and support server applications on Windows and Linux
operating systems.

Competencies:
• VMWare clusters, virtual switches, datastores, NAS and SAN disk arrays.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and features, including
Exchange Online and SharePoint
• Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of anti-spam and anti-malware software.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues remotely.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent time management skills.
Qualifications:
Required
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in networking and network infrastructure.
Desired
• Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence).
• Experience with NetApp (SAN) and Cisco products (Duo, Switches, Secure Email,
Umbrella).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity training platforms (KnowBe4).
• Familiarity with password vaults (LastPass).
• Antivirus/Malware protection (Cylance).
• Network management skills; help troubleshooting remote network issues and
be part of the discussion about networking standards and IT vision.
• System administration; knowledge of hardware, appliances, configuration,
maintenance, etc.
Other Qualifications:
• Ability to adhere to Adacel's Drug Free Workplace Policy.
• Ability to pass an Adacel background check while employed.
