Full Job Description
We are seeking two System Administrators for the Stock Control System (SCS) Cloud Environment. The system administrators will coordinate with the SCS Subject Matter Expert (SME) team, the Program Management Office (PMO), and the support contractor to assist with the ongoing production support of the SCS.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer the SCS Production, and Test environments on the Cloud.
  • Interact with the SCS SME team and the support contractor to assist with the ongoing production support of the SCS. This includes the Oracle version of the system databases to ensure the continuous functionality of the system and that the maintenance and enhancements have been successfully applied to the cloud environments.
  • Communicate with the other members of the SCS SME Team to schedule Qualification Test and Evaluation (QT&E), Production, and Test environments maintenance.
  • Use the Agile methodology to participate in project Sprints.
  • Review JAVA, JavaScript, and PYTHON code for software and test peer reviews to keep up to date on scheduled system changes.
  • Use JIRA/Confluence tools to track problem tickets and their solutions.
  • Ensure all documentation required to support the Federal Information Systems Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) checklist is complete, to include that test scripts and test results are captured and stored in a PMO designated area.
  • Perform CheckMarx system scans to ensure that Cyber Security issues are mitigated before system changes are allowed to be implemented at the sites.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Successfully complete a T1 Public Trust background check or higher.
  • Possess a current CompTIA Security+ Certification or attain within 90 days of hire.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with the SME Team.
  • Ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work in a high stress and changing environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence.
  • Agile trained and/or certified.
  • Experience with Business and Enterprise System (BES) Directorate's lifecycle management process in an agile environment.
  • Working knowledge of USAF Logistics Systems. i.e. Stock Control System (SCS/D035).
  • Working knowledge of JAVA, JavaScript, and PYTHON code.
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity scan tools.
Physical and/or Mental Qualifications:
  • Effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and specialists.
  • Work independently to accomplish tasks and lead small teams if required.
