Full Job Description
The SVP, Strategy & Performance serves as a key member of the USIS leadership team and is responsible for shaping the long-term strategic direction of the business while ensuring successful execution of the organization's most critical growth initiatives.

This leader will drive enterprise strategy, oversee the strategic portfolio and PMO function, lead business performance management, sales enablement, and partner closely with the President and executive leadership team to accelerate growth, operational effectiveness, and market leadership. The role serves as the connective tissue between strategy development and execution, ensuring priorities translate into measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

USIS Strategy
  • Partner with the USIS President and executive leadership team to define and refine the long-term business strategy.
  • Lead strategic planning processes, including annual planning, multi-year growth roadmaps, and market assessments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, competitive threats, and strategic investments.
  • Develop executive-level recommendations to drive growth, profitability, and customer impact.


Strategic Portfolio & PMO Leadership
  • Lead the enterprise PMO function overseeing the company's highest-priority growth and transformation initiatives.
  • Establish governance, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms to ensure execution excellence.
  • Drive visibility into initiative health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Ensure strategic investments are aligned to business priorities and measurable value creation.


Business Performance & Growth Management
  • Lead enterprise performance reviews and operating cadences.
  • Lead Business Intelligence reporting and analytics team
  • Develop executive dashboards and performance management frameworks.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and accelerate results.
  • Drive disciplined execution against growth, customer, operational, and financial objectives.


Sales Performance & Commercial Excellence
  • Continue advancing sales performance strategies that improve productivity, effectiveness, and revenue growth.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Finance leaders to optimize commercial outcomes.
  • Establish metrics and insights that drive accountability and performance improvement across customer-facing teams.


Executive Leadership Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and leadership team.
  • Facilitate executive decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts requiring alignment across multiple organizations.
  • Foster a culture of execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.


What Experience You Need
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, consulting, transformation, business operations, PMO, commercial excellence, or related functions.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and complex transformations.
  • Demonstrated success driving business performance and growth outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence with experience influencing senior leaders and boards.
  • Experience building governance structures and leading cross-functional programs.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to balance long-term strategy with operational execution.


What Could Set You Apart
  • Experience within data, analytics, information services, financial services, fintech, technology, or SaaS environments.
  • Background in top-tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company) combined with operating leadership experience.
  • Experience leading enterprise PMO or transformation offices.
  • Track record of driving growth strategies tied directly to revenue, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
  • Experience supporting CEOs, Presidents, or business unit leaders in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action and deliver measurable business results.
