Position Summary

The SVP, Commerce is responsible for leading multiple client spokes, overseeing a portfolio of strategic accounts, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client outcomes at scale. This role serves as a senior business leader accountable for client satisfaction, revenue growth, operational excellence, talent strategy, and organizational health across multiple teams.

This role acts as the connective leader between client teams, functional leadership, and executive stakeholders, ensuring resources, capabilities, and talent are aligned to support both current business needs and future growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Client Leadership
• Own the health and performance of a multi-spoke client portfolio.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and commercial performance across all accounts.
• Anticipate client needs and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and expanded partnerships.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client, operational, and organizational challenges.

Business Leadership
• Accountable for portfolio revenue, profitability, utilization, and growth targets.
• Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that support business objectives.

• Lead forecasting, workforce planning, and capacity management across multiple spokes.
• Identify and address systemic risks, gaps, and opportunities across the portfolio.

Talent & Organizational Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of spoke leaders and senior managers.
• Build a strong leadership bench and succession pipeline.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
• Ensure teams have the skills, structure, and support needed to meet evolving client demands.

Operational Excellence
• Establish and enforce standards, processes, and governance across spokes.

$250,000 - $300,000 USD

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
