Full Job Description
V2X Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a Sustainment Program Manager (SPM) to assist the Program Management Team in performance of the day-to-day program execution and associated activities. The SPM will work at the program office located on Patrick Space Force Base (SFB), FL facilitating collaboration with the Key Subcontractors, Customer Team and Functional Support (Labor Relations, Human Resources, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Subcontracts) team members.

V2X Mobile Sensors performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for a ship based mobile platform with complex multi-mission radar/communication systems which have an elaborate command & control computing structure, along with communication interfaces and support sub-systems. Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are fully mission capable, and able to support mission operations in a dynamic environment.

The SPM position will be required to conduct both domestic and international travel.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible as a key member of the MSMO team in proposing and overseeing the Subcontractor efforts, which include leading stakeholders with proposals and the development of Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) requirements.
  • Participate in and/or provide productive input toward various program initiatives to improve the performance of the contract/team.
  • Ensure compliance with any applicable Customer requirements and/or sustainment review milestones.
  • Remain cognizant of the day-to-day tactical issues, ensuring the Mobile Sensor team is proactively achieving all performance measures.
  • Responsible for the creation, coordination, and delivery of SDRLS and/or CDRLs, including detailed status reports, hosting the Monthly program Integrated Product Team (IPTs), EAC reviews, financial reports, etc.
  • Quality monitoring and documentation of subcontractor activities to ensure consistency of processes and procedures in execution and/or correction requirements.
  • Ensure that coordination and cooperation with other Customer Team members is a program priority so that progress is successful in meeting the Customer's strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Focus on identifying and implementing strategic improvements and suggesting solutions that are consistent with the Customer's vision.
  • Ensure adherence to both Industry and customer standards, best practices to support documentation review and release, Company and Customer policies, records management, and digitization of data.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in implementation management and control procedures that afford early recognition of problem areas, expeditious reporting of problems, and collaborative skills to help facilitate resolutions.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or 6-8 years' experience in lieu of education
