Sustainability Data Systems Manager to help
advance Veralto9s corporate sustainability data systems, collection processes, governance practices, and reporting capabilities across the global enterprise.
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong experience in data management, reporting processes, process documentation, systems administration, and cross-functional collaboration. This person will partner closely with Sustainability, EHS, Finance, Legal, HR, and operating company stakeholders to help bridge the gap between operational sustainability metrics and finance-style reporting discipline.
Success in this role means
helping Veralto build repeatable, auditable, and scalable sustainability data processes; improving the adoption of standard work; supporting global stakeholders through change; and identifying practical opportunities to improve systems, reporting, and data quality over the first 12-18 months.
This position is part of the Sustainability team and is based in
Waltham, Massachusetts, with a hybrid scheme.

In this role, a typical day will look like:- Manage and reinforce Veralto9s corporate sustainability data systems, ensuring operational reliability, global consistency, and alignment with sustainability reporting needs.
- Document standard work, workflows, roles, responsibilities, and data collection processes to support repeatable and auditable sustainability reporting.
- Partner with Sustainability, EHS, Finance, Legal, HR, and operating company stakeholders to help align sustainability data practices with finance-style reporting discipline.
- Support the adoption of newly implemented software systems and data collection processes by coordinating with cross-functional and matrixed stakeholders.
- Improve data quality and governance by identifying gaps, clarifying ownership, and helping establish consistent processes for sustainability data collection and reporting.
- Administer off-the-shelf sustainability data management and reporting tools, helping users follow defined processes and resolve practical workflow challenges.
- Analyze sustainability data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities that support internal decision-making and external reporting needs.
- Create clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to communicate sustainability metrics and insights.
- Contribute to key sustainability reporting initiatives, including regulatory and external reporting work such as CSRD-related readiness.
- Navigate ambiguity and change by helping the team develop practical solutions where processes, ownership, or reporting requirements are still evolving.
- Recommend process and technology improvements that strengthen Veralto9s sustainability reporting maturity over time.
The essential requirements of the job include: Minimum Qualifications
These are the must-have requirements for the role:
- Bachelor9s degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, engineering, business, data analytics, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience with data management, reporting processes, systems administration, business analytics, or process improvement in a corporate or complex organizational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to document and improve standard work, workflows, or data collection processes.
- Experience working with business systems or off-the-shelf software tools that support data collection, reporting, dashboards, or workflow management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify inconsistencies, and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, influence without direct authority, and support stakeholders through process adoption or change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex process or data topics into clear guidance for internal customers.
- Comfort working in an evolving environment where not all answers are defined and solutions must be developed collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
These are nice-to-have skills that will set candidates apart:
- Experience in sustainability, ESG, EHS, environmental reporting, or operational performance data.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks or regulatory requirements such as CSRD, GRI, SASB, IFRS S1/S2, or California climate disclosure laws.
- Experience supporting data governance, controls, audit readiness, external assurance, or finance-style reporting processes.
- Experience with sustainability data management or reporting platforms such as Workiva, Sphera, or similar systems.
- Experience creating dashboards or reports in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar analytics tools.
- Familiarity with lean, continuous improvement, or process excellence environments.
- Project management experience or certification, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Agile, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience using AI or automation tools to improve business processes or reporting workflows.
US ONLY: The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate9s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
