SIT license and 107 Remote Pilot's Certification are advantageous

Job Title: Survey Project Manager
Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
Relocation assistance or sign-on bonus available
Duties/Responsibilities:
Will assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
SIT or LS required
Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software
Experience with GIS platforms is desirable
Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post processing).
Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies is desirable
Should be registered in Georgia or the ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.
A demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys
Coordinates with office staff and clients as required.
Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation
Must have project management experience
Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
Adheres to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Will accept two year degree plus experience.
Must be Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other states licenses are desirable
Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) experience required
10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
8+ years of experience in land surveying
SIT license
107 Remote Pilot's Certification a plus
Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson
LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus
Experienced with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable
Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable
