Full Job Description
Summary/Objective
The mission of the Engineering Team is to ensure that the products we make are safe, meet all specified material properties, are correctly designed / specified, and when needed repaired. The Support Engineer owns the relationship between PWT Engineering, our distribution partners, and the consulting Engineers we use to meet our customers' needs. The focus is on identifying the customers' needs and then developing the engineered solution that meets that need.

Director of Engineering

• Provide technical support to PWT sales and customers.
• Respond to designquestions.
• Develop engineeredsolutions tocomplex design conditions.
• Meet or exceed the Engineering Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Travel Requirements
Person must be able to travel throughout the US and Canada as needed.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelorsin engineering.
• EITCertification
• Light frame construction experience desirable
• Experience in design of EWP products (I-Joist, LVL, LSL, PSL, GLB)desirable.
• Knowledge of current codes is critical.
