The Opportunity:

Make your mark while you grow your career! As a Supply Management Professional, you'll be responsible for managing and negotiating supply chain contracts within the energy sector, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and legal teams to define sourcing strategies, optimize contract terms, mitigate risks, and drive cost efficiencies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to operations across Canada while developing your expertise in energy procurement and contract management.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the planning, execution, and closeout of sustaining capital projects in alignment with business and operational priorities
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction teams, suppliers, and vendors to enable timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Manage projects with progressively defined scopes, collaborating with engineering, operations, and construction to refine scope and execution strategies as work advances
  • Support procurement and contracting activities, including scope definition, commercial alignment, and coordination of contractor deliverables with execution timelines
  • Apply a strong understanding of cost drivers, labour productivity, fabrication and construction variables to support effective agreement negotiation, cost control, and change-order evaluation
  • Track and manage costs, forecasts, schedules, and changes, monitoring project performance and supporting risk identification and mitigation where scope or execution evolves
  • Support governance, documentation, and reporting, while contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and execution efficiencies

What You Bring to the Role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field from a recognized university
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, procurement, or supply chain within the energy sector or a related industry
  • Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts across sustaining and project work, supported by hands-on experience within capital project execution environments and strong knowledge of contract law and Canadian energy industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on risk mitigation and cost optimization
  • Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
