Key Accountabilities:- Support the planning, execution, and closeout of sustaining capital projects in alignment with business and operational priorities
- Coordinate with engineering, construction teams, suppliers, and vendors to enable timely and cost-effective delivery
- Manage projects with progressively defined scopes, collaborating with engineering, operations, and construction to refine scope and execution strategies as work advances
- Support procurement and contracting activities, including scope definition, commercial alignment, and coordination of contractor deliverables with execution timelines
- Apply a strong understanding of cost drivers, labour productivity, fabrication and construction variables to support effective agreement negotiation, cost control, and change-order evaluation
- Track and manage costs, forecasts, schedules, and changes, monitoring project performance and supporting risk identification and mitigation where scope or execution evolves
- Support governance, documentation, and reporting, while contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned and execution efficiencies
What You Bring to the Role:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field from a recognized university
- 8+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, procurement, or supply chain within the energy sector or a related industry
- Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts across sustaining and project work, supported by hands-on experience within capital project execution environments and strong knowledge of contract law and Canadian energy industry regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on risk mitigation and cost optimization
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
