The Opportunity:

Make your mark while you grow your career! As a Supply Management Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting and managing pipe desk operations within the energy sector, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. You'll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to mitigate risks and drive cost efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and Line Pipe inventory, support accurate forecasting and collaborate closely with business units to align supply strategies with operational needs.
  • Lead the planning and optimization of OCTG and Line Pipe inventory, ensuring critical materials are available to support operations while maximizing inventory efficiency and cost performance
  • Develop data-driven demand forecasts and supply strategies, partnering closely with business units to anticipate requirements and align material availability with operational priorities
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, coordinate schedules, priorities, and supply plans to enable seamless execution across the business
  • Manage and strengthen supplier relationships, drive reliable performance, continuous improvement, and opportunities for cost savings and value creation
  • Monitor market trends and supply chain risks, proactively identify and mitigate potential disruptions to ensure uninterrupted material supply
  • Deliver actionable insights through reporting and analysis, using spend data, cost comparisons, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and achieve results in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring to the Role:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in supply management, supply chain operations, purchasing, inventory control, and warehousing functions, with a proven ability to deliver results in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • University degree or related post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OCTG and Line Pipe, including steel grades, threading requirements, Line Pipe coating specifications, and industry applications
  • Strong understanding of logistics, material coordination, and expediting processes to ensure the timely movement and availability of critical materials
  • Previous Pipe Desk experience is considered a strong asset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders
