Full Job Description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager, Fluid Systems to join our growing Supply Chain team. In this role, you will own the procurement program lifecycle for balance of plant fluid systems, bridging the gap between engineering requirements and commercial execution. You will work cross-functionally with the fluid systems engineering team, strategic sourcing, and suppliers to translate technical requirements into actionable procurement programs, ensuring on-time delivery and cost targets are met. You will work a hybrid schedule and report to our Head of Strategic Sourcing. Primary Responsibilities • Own and manage the end-to-end procurement program lifecycle for balance of plant fluid systems, from requirements definition through production ramp • Partner with the fluid systems engineering team to understand and translate technical requirements into clear commercial and sourcing requirements • Develop and maintain procurement program plans with trackable milestones across requirements definition, RFQ, supplier selection, development, qualification, and production ramp phases • Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, sourcing, quality, and operations teams to ensure procurement programs stay on schedule and within budget • Coordinate with the strategic sourcing team, who own pricing and contract negotiations, to provide program context, supplier priorities, and technical inputs • Identify and mitigate procurement program risks, escalating issues proactively and maintaining visibility across stakeholders • Maintain accurate and up-to-date program tracking using project management tools and Arena PLM • Support supplier onboarding, qualification activities, and ongoing supplier performance reviews in coordination with the sourcing team • Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain program management processes and tools as the company scales Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience in supply chain program management, procurement, operations, or a related discipline • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stage procurement or engineering programs from requirements definition through production • Strong technical acumen with the ability to interpret engineering requirements and drive alignment between technical and commercial stakeholders • Strong program management skills with a track record of building and executing structured, trackable program plans • Experience working with project management tools and Arena PLM or equivalent product lifecycle management systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around program priorities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with shifting priorities Preferred Qualifications • Experience in capital-intensive industries such as clean energy, industrial equipment, automotive, aerospace, or oil and gas • Familiarity with balance of plant fluid systems in an industrial, process, or energy environment • Prior experience supporting sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or strategic sourcing initiatives • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing scale-up, or production ramp programs • Knowledge of supplier qualification, supplier development, and supplier performance management processes #LI-Hybrid Compensation and Benefits | P4 San Jose Zone $145,000-$170,000 USD Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
