Raytheon is seeking an experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in Supply Chain Management, Program Management, and people leadership to serve as a Supply Chain Product Line Leader supporting a suite of programs within the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) Strategic Business Unit. Candidates must be able to succeed in a fast-paced development and production environment and possess excellent leadership, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment are critical to success in this role.

The Supply Chain Product Line Leader will report directly to the AOIS Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Lead and will lead a team of approximately 6-8 direct-line Material Program Managers. The candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of supply chain strategies and material program plans across a diverse portfolio of classified and unclassified programs, including Development and Production Programs such as Family of Systems (FoS), ASARS, Tanglestar, and Galaxie.

The portfolio includes a broad range of advanced technology products, including radar, antennas, sensors, EO/IRS turrets, electronic units, processors, and software development. The Supply Chain Product Line Leader will serve as the primary Supply Chain representative to the Program Management Office providing leadership and direction on all supply chain-related matters across the product line.

The candidate will be accountable for developing and executing supply chain strategies, ensuring effective material and supplier management, mitigating supply chain risks, developing talent, and driving program execution throughout all phases of the product life cycle. The leader will serve as a catalyst for successful supply chain execution by ensuring appropriate resources, budgets, schedules, processes, and performance metrics are established and effectively managed.

What You Will Do
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 6-8 Material Program Managers supporting classified and unclassified programs
  • Provide strategic supply chain leadership across the AOIS product line and serve as the primary SCM interface to Program Management and cross-functional IPTs
  • Advise the AOIS OSC Lead and Program Management Office on material strategies, supplier risks, program execution, and performance
  • Develop and execute program material strategies, material program plans (MPP), supply chain objectives, and supplier management strategies
  • Establish priorities, allocate resources, and drive execution across a diverse portfolio of development and production programs
  • Drive early supplier involvement, strategic sourcing, Design-to-Cost, affordability, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Lead risk and opportunity management while proactively addressing supplier, program, and functional issues
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and communicate portfolio status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Contracts, and Program Management to align material requirements, supplier capacity, and program schedules
  • Support proposal, capture, and new business activities, including supply chain strategies, estimates, and price-to-win objectives
  • Champion continuous improvement, process standardization, and best practices across the Supply Chain organization
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable government regulations
  • Travel required to support program and supplier objectives
  • Influence program objectives and long-range goals across a complex portfolio
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks while driving opportunities

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience as a people manager responsible for management activities such as performance reviews, employee development, etc.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in material program management, supply chain strategy, supplier management, and/or program execution
  • Experience using SAP or related MRP/ERP tools
  • Experience in material forecasting, financial management, and/or management of program budgets
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience supporting classified defense programs
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR/EAR, TINA, and related government requirements
  • Knowledge of Design-to-Cost, Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRI), affordability, and/or productivity improvement
  • Experience in proposal development, new business capture, and competitive assessments

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
