Full Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Own supply planning for assigned commodities, including supplier forecast reviews, supply commitments, and internal communication of supply status and supportability.
  • Partner with suppliers, system integrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure purchase orders align with supply plans, inventory strategy, and operational requirements.
  • Manage key supply metrics such as inventory health, days of supply, shortages, excess and obsolete inventory, and supplier exposure to drive performance improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional planning for product transitions, including end-of-life management, new platform ramp readiness, and risk mitigation.
  • Define and optimize inventory buffer strategies based on forecast, demand patterns, and business risk.
  • Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of supply constraints, demand changes, and other risks to the supply plan.
  • Oversee component flow across build stages, regions, and manufacturing or hub locations to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Drive program management across supply chain initiatives by identifying process improvements, coordinating cross-functional execution, and improving planning tools and processes.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience OR equivalent experience.


Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Supply Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600.00 - $188,400.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000.00 - $206,400.00 per year.
