Full Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Manager supports a North American Line of Business (LOB) by coordinating and executing planning activities that enable production readiness and customer service performance across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role manages day-to-day supply planning execution for assigned sites, monitors capacity availability and drives timely issue resolution through structured cross-functional collaboration. The Supply Chain Manager provides analysis and recommendations, executes agreed actions, and escalates risks as needed; LOB-level strategy and final trade-off decisions remain with the Senior Supply Chain Manager. The Supply Chain Manager applies standard work, planning parameters, and performance routines to improve site execution and reduce shortages, partnering closely with Strategic Sourcing, Operations, Purchasing, Product Line Management, Finance, and Customer Service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day direction to Planners, including work prioritization, coaching, and support for issue resolution.
  • Execute within established LOB strategy and supplier agreements, escalating trade-off decisions and material risks to the Senior Supply Chain Manager as needed
  • Execute direct planning activities for assigned sites/projects, including utilization, volume placement
  • Monitor capacity availability, delivery performance, and open order status; identify risks and drive timely resolution.
  • Coordinate shortage and constraint management with Purchasing and Operations; support prioritization and escalation as needed.
  • Maintain target utilization and inventory build parameters (e.g., safety stock, reorder points, and lead times) in accordance with the planning playbook.
  • Track and report key metrics (e.g., OTIF, Utilization, stock build, and demand bias); support corrective action plans with stakeholders.
  • Partner with PLM & OPS to promote performance management; ensure Planning aligns to targeted utilization and OTIF
  • Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities that strengthen service, OTIF performance, and site execution.
  • Build effective working relationships across functions and sites to support communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-6 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, materials management, planning, and/or related functions
  • Experience in direct materials purchasing/planning and supporting manufacturing operations
  • Strong analytical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive issue resolution with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Ability to provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and performance feedback to planners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to implement changes and support continuous improvement


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations and complex supplier networks
  • Experience partnering with planning on performance, attainment, and escalation processes
  • APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) or similar supply chain certification
