Supply Chain Management Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst (level 3 or 4) to join our Material & Standards OrganizationComposite  Raw Material team in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques.
  • Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers.
  • Investigates complex ordering conditions. Position requires close relationship with the CWC Leadership on factory needs.
  • Ability to understand Composite material and nuisances that require analysis to determine demand in addition to forecast in ERP ordering system.
  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies.
  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations.
  • Creates complex schedules. Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
  • Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM.
  • Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies.
  • Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience Assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests.
  • 5+ years of experience coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • 5+ years of experience providing guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and other analysts.
  • 5+ years of gathering manufacturing and product data to develop and recommend solutions for requirements.
  • 5+ years of analyzing, procuring, and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tools, services, and products.
  • 5+ years of experience with procurement and inventory management systems such as: ERPLN, SAP etc.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience in collaborative problem-solving with a track record of partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and suppliers to resolve issues.
  • 10+ years of experience in Inventory Management.
  • Experience with HAZTRAX System preferred.

Typical Education / Experience

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Level 4: $120,000.00 - $141,000.00
