Full Job Description
AWS-Infrastructure team is looking for a results-oriented individual to assume responsibility for every facet of data and communication to ensure our partners and our leaders have the most up to date and reliable information to help them make the best possible decision. This is a perfect position for someone who knows how to manage fast and smart. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, and have a passion for using data to drive business decisions. You are analytical and creative, and you don't quit until you solve the problem.

Key job responsibilities

- Create a "learn by doing" environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction

- Partner with your team and oversee pricing operations, develop analytical models / automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners

- Engage with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction.

- Work with technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.

- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.

- Analyze and solve business problems at their root.

- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in sourcing fair pricing and accurately estimating freight cost.

- Create a "learn by doing" environment by engaging with financial analysts and business partners to promote and encourage continued customer focus and cost reduction.

- Partner with your team and oversee the auditing operations and develop analytical models / SQL automation efforts while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners.

- Design exception based reporting highlighting and analyzing outliers.

- Weekly discussions reporting on pricing gaps, spot quotes, and areas of improvement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience

- 6+ years of related industry experience

- 8+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent experience

- Experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments

- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies

- Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

- Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies

- Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction

- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners

- Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field

- 8+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
