How you'll make an impact in this roleThis position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:
• Direct the end-to-end execution of complex product conversions by serving as the primary subject matter expert to ensure seamless clinical engagement, staff education, and operational implementation. Effectively develop professional presentation materials and articulate the value delivered to leadership.
• Cultivate and manage influential relationships with executive clinical, provider/physician and operational leadership, to represent the organization's interests and ensure alignment with national supply chain initiatives.
• Develop and deploy strategies for conducting reviews with key physicians and clinical leaders to analyze performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and establish solutions for clinical supply challenges.
• Oversee the local management of backorders and recalls while strictly enforcing Vendor Access Policies and maintaining strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance and facility security.
• Partner with national training coordinators and multidisciplinary teams to design and administer product trials and training programs for new critical supplies and services within the clinical environment.
• Lead reviews of utilization analytics to identify and implement value-creation opportunities in collaboration with physicians, clinicians and local leadership.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- A Master's degree (clinical degree preferred - BSN, RN, PT)
- 2+ years of professional experience (business, healthcare administration, nursing, or supply chain)
- Professional working proficiency of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)
- RN Preferred
