Responsibilities

Summary

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to help optimize our global supply chain.
  • Own and understand end-to-end demand planning and forecasting requirements and processes.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.
  • Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Drive automation projects on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and engineering, to best understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Manage inventory control reorder point levels within MRP system based on historical data and production planning activity.
  • Minimize material shortages to ensure production schedule is not negatively impacted.
  • Minimize financial impact of inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain/improve cross functional communication and decision making.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work in process aging.
  • Ascertain root cause and implement preventative measures for material shortages.
  • Take a proactive approach to identify and resolve inventory control issues before they occur.
  • Improve and maintain the integrity of material data within an MRP system.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain.
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience within an analytically focused discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years related experience
  • Strong analytical skills, applicable to supply chain measurement and business process improvement.
  • 3+ SQL, Python, Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis
  • Statistical forecasting experience
  • Big Tech, Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, Dashboarding
  • High level of proficiency using Excel & Word.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP and Inventory Control practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong business process improvement & change management skills.
  • Comfort in communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Understanding of financial impacts of supply chain management / business decisions.
  • Any related certification would be an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience ERP Systems preferred.
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace industry is preferred.
