Job DescriptionSupply Chain Planning & Operations role optimizes the manufacturing and delivery of goods - from raw materials to finished products, and from suppliers all the way to customers. The role performs tasks related to managing supply / inventory based on the input from Demand Planning as well as support Production Planning and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the supply chain and delivery of products. They are responsible for developing and executing strategic supply plans, forecasting demand, and managing inventory levels to align with production needs. Their extensive experience enables them to optimize the procurement process, negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and maintain strong relationships, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of materials or goods.
Responsibilities:- Provide data support to the Supply Chain and Planning.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Organization members to analyze supply chain performance and develop visualizations with insights that can drive decision making.
- Play a key role in defining the future of reporting and automation in the organization. Collaborate with Planning/Production sites and Product Development.
- Participate in tasks related to new initiatives and developments of products which impact the data structure.
- Problem solving and root causing system, inventory, allocation, and/or order related issues.
- Supply Chain Management: Proficient in executing supply processes, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring material availability. Collaborate with supply planning managers and other departments. Execute improvement initiatives. Impact on day-to-day operations and inventory optimization.
- Scenario and Strategic Planning: Proficient in executing tactical plans that support strategic objectives. Analyzes demand and supply scenarios, adjusting align with operational goals. Impact on maintaining flexibility and responsiveness in daily operations.
- Tactical and Operations Planning: Proficient skills in executing production schedules and ensuring material availability (MRP). Competence in managing capacity constraints (RCCP/CRP) and coordinates with S&OP teams. Impact on maintaining daily operational efficiency and meeting production goals.
- Inventory Management: Proficient in optimizing inventory levels to balance supply and demand efficiently, reducing carrying costs and avoiding stock-outs. Competent in analyzing inventory data and implementing strategies that improve turnover rates and overall inventory performance.
- Supplier Performance and Management: Proficient in driving supplier performance management activities. Assists in setting performance metrics, conducting evaluations, and fostering supplier collaboration. Impact on day-to-day supplier interactions and maintaining quality standards.
- Digital Capability for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence: Assess and optimize supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Competent in using sophisticated supply chain management system and data analysis tools to drive strategic decision-making and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Risk Management: Identifies, assesses, and mitigate risks across the supply chain to ensure continuity and resilience. Competent in analyzing and evaluating potential disruptions, developing robust contingency plans, and implementing proactive risk management strategies effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Good knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the supply chain, ensuring all operations adhere to applicable laws and standards. Capable of implementing and overseeing compliance programs, conducting regular audits, and staying updated on regulatory changes to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
- Leadership: Ability to take guidance from leaders, however strong self-leadership ownership of delivering with, and strong focus on taking initiative, and solving problems.
- Strategic Thinking: Good understanding of basic procurement strategies such as cost reduction, quality improvement & supplier diversification & apply these strategies to daily tasks & sourcing decisions.
- Effective Communication: Good understanding and application of oral and verbal communication. Proactive in asking questions, explaining approach and blockers and works towards expanding business knowledge at a to be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and business.

CompensationThe salary for this position has a range of $96,326.00 - $144,488.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
