Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of quality assurance or supervisory experience in a nuclear power plant.
• At least one year of experience implementing a Quality Assurance Program and ANSI/ANS N45.2.23-1978 certification.
• In-depth knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and quality assurance programs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft desktop applications and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong leadership skills and familiarity with nuclear power operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes audit plans and leads supplier audit teams for safety-related procurement.
• Supports industry organizations like NUPIC through leading supplier audits.
• Ensures the quality and accuracy of QA documentation, identifying adverse trends in supplier quality.
• Maintains and updates the Quality Suppliers List (QSL).
• Reviews supplier performance and identifies surveillance areas based on risk insights.
• Assists with internal audit activities at the station as needed.
• Communicates effectively with suppliers and various levels of station personnel.
• Exercises stop work authority over non-conforming production activities posing significant risks.
