Serves as the Flight Chief, providing leadership, oversight, and technical direction for enterprise-level Air Force equipment readiness operations. Leads personnel responsible for analyzing, validating, and processing equipment authorization requirements; ensuring compliance with applicable supply and equipment management policy; evaluates workload, performance, and data trends; resolves complex equipment authorization issues and develops process improvement to enhance mission readiness, data integrity, and customer support.

May be required to travel to perform temporary duty

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):

1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support.

2. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team.

4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization.
