- You will be responsible for providing and supervising the provision of legal advice and related services throughout the DON in the areas of military justice, national security law, legal assistance, and naval administration.
- You will be responsible for ensuring employees can effectively contribute to the accomplishment of Director IT OPS strategic goals and objectives while providing them the opportunity to influence their work environment.
- You will develop the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and Secretary of the Navy Review Board (SRB) budget submissions in coordination with the OJAG/NLSC Comptroller and JAG Corps leadership.
- You will oversee and manage the development, dissemination, execution, and management of critical agency and strategic organization IT policies and standards, Cybersecurity/Risk Management Framework principles, and organizational strategy.
- You will promote awareness of Cybersecurity issues that could negatively affect operations including cybersecurity system risk and vulnerability monitoring, identification, assessment, and evaluation, and contingency planning and recovery.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Develop and manage the enterprise structural framework to align information technology (IT) strategy, plans, and systems with the missions, goals, and processes of the organization. 2) Develop and promulgate Information Technology strategy, policy, guidance, and plans. Monitor to ensure consistency and compliance. 3) Protect and defend information and information systems in order to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability. (AKA Information Assurance). 4) Plans, distributes, coordinates, and monitors work assignments of others; evaluates work performance and provides feedback to others on their performance; ensures that staff are appropriately selected, utilized, and developed, and that they are treated in a fair and equitable manner. 5) Develop or implement strategy and plans for utilization, tracking and management of information resources (such as personnel, equipment, funds, and Information Technology) in order to enable organizational and enterprise missions. 6) Execute an information technology project from initiation to sustainment to fulfill established requirements that meet specified business missions. 7) Develop and maintain IT customer service operations for the NLSC/OJAG enterprise.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
