Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

Help

  • You will implement oversight, management, and direction of a wide variety of complex operations in support of technical facilities and engineering which encompass facility services for the physical layout of TRIREFFAC-KB buildings.
  • You will encompass the physical layout of base operating service contracts (BOSC), intra service support agreements (ISSA), memorandums of agreements (MOA), and memorandums of understandings (MOU).
  • You will coordinate with public works, NAVFAC support, and industrial plant equipment (IPE) to include acquisition, replacement, and maintenance for all TRIREFFAC-KB facilities and minor programs.
  • You will coordinate with contractors, manufacturer surveillance and quality assurance for product performance, material handling equipment (MHE) and weight handling equipment (WHE) programs, and vehicle and transportation programs.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.


Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience planning, coordinating integration and development of all facilities, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Experience consulting with and advising the facilities and maintenance equipment supervisor, department heads and deputies, and the executive director concerning the planning, review, and evaluation of command operations, activities, special projects, and programs related to long term facilities projects.
  • Experience developing and revising directives, instructions, procedures and policies for programs and projects under their review.
  • Experience managing continuous process improvement of the commands facility and equipment program by providing supervision and oversight of process improvement related to acquisition, replacement and maintenance of equipment, including contractor and manufacturer surveillance and quality assurance for product performance for command capitalized property and equipment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

Several vacancies may be filled.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

This position has been designated to provide vital services during emergencies, disasters, or closures, requiring employees to report to work or remain on site.
