Résumé du travailReporting to the Manager Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Optimization, the Supervisor, Repairs & Warranty will oversee the Repairs and RMA teams to ensure appropriate availability of parts and tools for supporting aircraft maintenance.
Devoirs et responsabilités- Support in creation, issuance, execution and monitoring of policies & procedures
- Monitor workforce level and adjust as required
- Responsible for time keeping and overtime approvals
- Collaborate with other team such as Stores, Inventory Control, Planning etc. to process part queries and technical assistance requests
- Accurately process all repair, exchange, and RMA orders to ensure an uninterrupted flow of aircraft parts to the operation, ensuring that vendors meet the agreed turnaround time
- Manage Vendor contracts ensuring requirements are met with regards to pooling orders, consignment orders, core returns and other stipulations outlined in our agreements
- Guide RMA team in submitting warranty claims to various vendors based on Aircraft, Purchase, Repair, SB, AD and other warranties Porter Airlines is entitled to
- Review vendor competencies and ensure that procured parts have required certifications
- Maintain records and files according to the company's policy, including vendor audit forms
- Proactively work on clarifications and discrepancies with all stakeholders as they occur
- Actively participate in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications- Post-Secondary education in a relevant field
- Minimum 10 years experience in TechOps procurement role
- Minimum 5 years experience in TechOps supervisor role
- Previous experience in the aviation industry required
- Previous experience in a supervisory/leadership role required
- Previous experience in repair and warranty required
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Effective analytical and presentation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with AMOS an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
