Supervisor, Renewable Production

$100,000 - $125,000 | On Site

What You'll Do:
  • Provide leadership, direction, supervision and training to support wind generation operations, and other renewable operations, to assure high reliability, operating efficiency, and maximum availability.
  • Oversight responsibility for operational issues, including maintenance of all equipment and facility analysis to identify and resolve problems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for employees and contractors to safely perform maintenance duties.
  • Serve as a technical resource for complex situations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations and equipment maintenance requirements.
  • Participate in the development of long-term plans and budgets to meet cost containment goals.


What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma required. A technical degree in electrical/mechanical maintenance, wind generation, or equivalent field of study is highly desirable.
  • Seven or more years of experience in power operations, electrical systems and instrumentation, and/or maintenance, preferably specific to wind energy is required.

How to Stand Out:
  • This position requires an effective, hands-on supervisor willing to perform cross-functional duties, especially during construction and start-up of new facilities.
  • Advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills for maintenance and repair of wind turbine systems and controls, with a working knowledge of electrical motors, controls, turbine generator systems, and related equipment.
  • Experience supporting turbine commissioning, testing, warranty management, monitoring performance reliability guarantees, and construction-to-operations transitions.

Special Requirements:.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, control circuitry, logic diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot complicated problems with variable pitch and variable speed control systems and components.
  • Computer proficiency with common software and ability to learn industry-specific software applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb 300+ foot turbine towers, and work safely in varying weather conditions.
  • Maintaining a valid driver's license and medical certificate is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including:
