Job Summary

RPA is seeking a Supervisor, Programmatic Investment to join the Platform Management & Investment team, reporting directly to the Associate Media Director, Programmatic. This role serves as a strategic programmatic lead responsible for campaign success, team development, operational excellence, process improvement, and innovation across programmatic media investments.

We're looking for a driven and collaborative leader with deep programmatic expertise and a passion for collaborating with others. In this role, you'll oversee a Specialist and Coordinator while leading campaign planning, activation, optimization, analysis, and strategic recommendations across client business. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with leading demand-side platforms, including DV360, The Trade Desk, and/or Yahoo DSP, and a strong understanding of full-funnel programmatic strategy across channels such as Display, Online Video, CTV, and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH). You should also possess strong working knowledge of Google Campaign Manager (CM360). Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO), audience development, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and buying tools such as Prisma/MediaOcean is highly preferred. We're seeking someone who is naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and eager to continuously learn and improve. You should be comfortable balancing hands-on platform execution with leadership responsibilities, including team oversight, quality assurance, process enhancement, and innovation.

Success in this role requires the ability to connect performance data to business outcomes; translating insights into actionable recommendations, identifying growth opportunities, proactively diagnosing issues, and confidently communicating strategic direction to both internal teams and clients. Candidates should possess 3+ years of digital media experience, including at least 2 years focused on programmatic media, with demonstrated success managing people, complex projects, and large-scale programmatic investments.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Lead programmatic investment across Display, Online Video, CTV, DOOH, and emerging channels through expert use of demand-side platforms (DSPs), overseeing campaign activation, optimization, performance analysis, and reporting.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Specialists and Coordinators, providing strategic guidance, quality assurance, workload oversight, and support across daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders on media strategy, creative development, trafficking, measurement, verification, reporting, and billing initiatives.
  • Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution, including comprehensive pre-launch and mid-flight QA across brand safety, audience targeting, bidding strategies, tracking, pacing, and performance.
  • Identify, evaluate, and present new programmatic opportunities, technologies, and innovations that drive client business results and advance media capabilities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact on internal and client-facing meetings, providing strategic leadership and ensuring all recommendations, reporting, and communications are accurate, polished, and presentation-ready.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve workflows, documentation, QA standards, and operational processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development support through regular feedback, knowledge sharing, and performance management.
  • Drive operational excellence across assigned accounts and workstreams, ensuring campaign launches, reporting deliverables, billing inputs, partner coordination, and key deadlines are executed accurately and on time.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, technology, measurement, and platform partners while proactively identifying solutions, opportunities, and industry best practices for clients.

How You'll Excel In Your Role
  • Experience managing at least one direct report, with a demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and support the growth of junior team members.
  • Deep understanding of self-serve programmatic media, including a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience activating and optimizing campaigns across multiple channels and categories.
  • Ability to generate actionable, ROI-driven insights and recommendations based on agreed-upon KPIs across the full funnel, including CPC, CPA, ROAS, CPM, VCR, Brand Lift, and other performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including platforms, partners, technologies, and industry trends, with the ability to train and mentor teammates while maintaining accountability for team performance and execution.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong attention to detail across campaign setup, QA, optimization, and reporting.
  • Direct client-facing experience, including leading meetings, presenting recommendations, and communicating campaign performance and strategic updates through written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines across both personal responsibilities and team deliverables.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, building strong partnerships across internal teams, clients, agencies, and media partners.
  • Ability to communicate complex programmatic concepts clearly and effectively to audiences with varying levels of media and technical expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of leading programmatic platforms, including DV360, The Trade Desk, and Yahoo DSP, as well as audience activation through DSPs and CDPs, Google Campaign Manager (CM360), Prisma/MediaOcean, and third-party verification solutions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to transform data into clear, compelling insights and recommendations.
