Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Supervisor, Midstream Marketing Reporting & Analysis within our Midstream & Marketing group based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for Midstream & Marketing financial reporting, close execution, and business analysis.
  • Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring the timely, accurate, and complete reporting of financial results.
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, estimates, and accruals in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
  • Lead the preparation and review of management reporting packages, including variance analysis, key business drivers, KPI reporting, and business performance insights.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Commercial, Operations, FP&A, Risk Management, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and insightful business analysis.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, scorecards, and visualization tools to monitor financial and operational performance.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, explain business results, and support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Review Marketing contracts and commercial agreements to assess financial implications that impact margin calculations, working capital, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Lead process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements and support internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation for quarterly and annual filings.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly outlook processes for Midstream & Marketing businesses.
  • Provide leadership support for special projects, technical accounting matters, acquisitions, and ad hoc financial analyses requested by senior management.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, cross-training, and employee development.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of financial reporting, financial analysis, business analysis, or accounting experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas, Midstream, Marketing, or Energy industry experience.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance analytics.
  • Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance requirements.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Midstream & Marketing Oil and Gas experience/background a plus
  • Proficiency in ERP and reporting tools such as SAP, advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and OneStream
