JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is seeking a Supervisor - Facility Operations to oversee operations and maintenance activities for assets in the Morris, Illinois area. This role will lead a team of operators and mechanics while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient facility performance through daily oversight, planning, budget management, project coordination, preventive maintenance follow-up, and employee development.

The Supervisor - Facility Operations will work closely with operations leadership and field teams to ensure assets are clean, safe, compliant, and operating properly. This position requires strong communication, organization, planning, and people leadership skills, with an emphasis on safety, compliance, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving. Successful candidates will be able to manage day-to-day team priorities, support employee performance and development, monitor required training and work orders, and help keep the team aligned and moving forward.

This role is based in Morris, Illinois and will primarily support local area assets, with day trips to nearby sites and occasional overnight travel for training. Industry experience in pipeline, natural gas liquids, or related industrial operations is preferred, though motivated candidates from comparable environments who are ready to learn may also be considered.

Job Profile Summary

Oversees and directs personnel responsible for the operation, maintenance, and efficiency of facility systems within oil and gas liquid processing and compressor operations. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and operational best practices while optimizing performance and productivity. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support equipment reliability, troubleshoot facility-related challenges, and drive continuous improvement efforts. Provides leadership in workforce coordination, training, and adherence to company policies and environmental regulations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Identify and manage material requirements, overseeing procurement activities and preparing purchase requisitions to support facility operations.
  • Supervise, direct, and support personnel engaged in facility operations and maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance of LPG Pipelines, Terminals and Storage Fields.
  • Coordinate facility improvements, modifications, and special projects, working with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize operational efficiency
  • Compile, prepare, and analyze reports and documentation, including but not limited to:
    - Operations & maintenance (O&M) budgets
    - Measurement and system performance documentation
    - Balance reports and expense authorizations (AFE's)
    - Facility production reports and asset management updates
    - Construction plans, technical drawings, and mapping documentation
    - Equipment performance and diagnostic reports (e.g., chromatograph printouts)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA/PSM, DOT, and federal/state environmental regulations, while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to management and employees, addressing daily work activities, scheduling, procedural adjustments, and regulatory updates.
  • Oversee facility safety protocols, promoting an environment aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.


Education
  • High School Diploma or GED typically required
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experience:


Work Experience
  • Experience supervising and directing facility operations personnel, ensuring effective execution of maintenance and operational tasks within oil and gas liquid processing and compressor systems.
  • Experience compiling, analyzing, and preparing reports and documentation, including budgets, measurement records, balance reports, expense authorizations (AFE's), facility production reports, and technical drawings.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, environmental safety, and compliance departments, to support facility operations.
  • Experience conducting meetings and making presentations, effectively communicating operational changes, project updates, and compliance information to management and teams.
  • Experience in ensuring adherence to OSHA/PSM, DOT, and environmental regulations while maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Experience leading, directing, supervising and training

  • Knowledge of facility operations including LPG Storage Fields, LPG Truck Loading Terminals, LPG Pipelines, Pump Stations and Meter Stations.
  • Knowledge of company/governmental operating procedures, emergency response protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA/PSM, DOT, environmental safety)
  • Skills in computers and applicable software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and operational management systems.
  • Ability to monitor storage, terminal and pipeline activities for safety and compliance.
  • Skills in compiling reports, interpreting data, and making informed operational recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements in operations and workforce management.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and supervise teams, with a working knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
