Full Job Description
Position Overview

The E&I Supervisor will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization's Power System, DCS, PLC, AC Drives, Motors, OT Plant Floor PC Hardware and Software, Data Historian, QCS, Web Inspection Systems, and Boiler / Environmental CEM equipment.

Responsibilities
• Provide safe, timely and effective E&I support to all manufacturing operations for Process and DCS control applications, including Paper Machine, Recycled Fiber, Automated Warehouse, Effluent Treatment, and Boiler Room
• Manage E&I staffing, scheduling and work order status in CMMS including BOMs, spare part identification, procurement, repairs and estimating costs
• Provide Supervision to Technicians and contractors
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed and safety equipment is used and maintained
• Support the 13.8kV / 4160V / 480V Power Distribution Equipment, PLC, DCS, AC Drives, QCS, WIS, and other Control Systems
• Support Capital Projects by helping define power, control requirements, scope of work, estimates, schedules, and implementation
• Manage changes to our systems by keeping programs backed-up and updating documentation, schematics, and drawings
• Coordinate and support daily activities, periodic shutdowns for fabric changes/maintenance, preventive maintenance procedures, long-term planning and capital projects related to the machinery controls and E&I Department
• Support E&I Technicians, Automation Technicians, Engineers and Operations
• Support the 24/7/365 operation on-call needs and rotation

Qualifications
• Engineering or Technical Degree or 10+ years E&I relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver and reinforce consistent messages at all levels
• Strong team player who can effectively work with others to meet objectives and timelines
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, automated valves, calibrations, industrial communications, robotics, inspection systems, motion control, drives, power equipment, motors, and AC/DC control power
• Programming experience with PLC, DCS, and AC Drive Systems including the ability to create, monitor, modify and tune control logic
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including periods of time in noisy, dusty, hot or cold environments
• Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors to ensure the proper execution of large and small projects
• Ability to prioritize time and department/project work
• Use of self-initiative and independence to complete tasks with urgency and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
