Full Job Description
Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated & proactive person to help lead in the day to day execution of campaigns across a large retail brand on an enterprise level account. This will be a hybrid role across strategy and investment, with plenty of cross-training and career development opportunities, but we are looking for the core competencies of this candidate to be an expert in the core digital investment/activation functions.

Responsibilities

  • Plays a leading role in all aspects of campaign strategy / tactical recommendations, including vendor liaison and reporting optimization
  • Lead internal and client statuses, ensuring that client needs are met and projects timelines are on track
  • Responsible for ensuring the success of digital campaigns across all brand initiatives
  • Overseeing a team of 2 onshore and 2 offshore team members from Associates to Senior Negotiators and ensuring all day-to-day campaign management functions are operating effectively (campaign setup, launch timelines, assisting the Ops team with trafficking tags, and partner with comms management to ensure campaign runs as expected).
    • Implement trainings and on-the-job coaching as necessary to ensure team is operating efficiently
  • Assist or lead in presentation of data, insights and optimizations to clients; typical cadences for optimizations are minor optimizations made monthly and larger optimizations made quarterly
  • Training/Support for Assistant Planners in billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research
  • Intimate knowledge of consumer habits & touchpoints, i.e. CTV, digital publishers, mobile partners, & social
  • Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value
  • Manage Vendor Billing: insertion orders, monthly billing reports, discrepancy resolution, and reconciliations
  • Build relationships with vendors to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan
  • Strong presentation/story-telling skills (written, presentation, and vocal)
  • Prepare and deliver buying and or digital trafficking specs and guidelines
  • Effectively People Manage: Continuously find areas of growth development within team, ability of conflict resolution when needed, provide constructive coaching & counseling

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 3+ years of digital media buying/planning experience
  • Experience planning digital campaigns for products in the B2C space and ability to confidently present these to clients both on the phone and in-person
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skills
  • Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, formulas, v-lookup, conditional formats, pivot tables, etc.
  • Must possess/develop a strong understanding of the technology marketplace including awareness of key publishers, products and trends
  • Expertise with Prisma, MediaOcean and Direct IOs
  • Experience with Research tools such as Nielsen or Comscore preferred

Compensation Range: $75,050 - $90,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
