Job DescriptionSupervisor Diagnostic Imaging at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.Full-Time/Day ShiftThe Supvr-Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor performs all duties of a diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer (including direct patient care) with expanded responsibilities of overseeing daily operations in multiple care environments; ensures policies and procedures are developed, utilized and maintained to adhere to organizational and regulatory requirements; assists manager in ensuring that the service functions and caregivers are in compliance with regulations / guidelines set forth by accrediting bodies, payors and professional licensing organizations; demonstrates organization and leadership of meetings, manual review and creation / oversight of posted communications. In addition, they are the primary resource for caregiver orientation, development, and ongoing satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:- Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or
- Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
- Upon hire: National Certification from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 5 years working as a diagnostic imaging technologist / sonographer.
- 2 years in a leadership (i.e. Supervisor, Coordinator, or Lead) capacity in an Imaging Department.
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or applicable field.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
