About the RoleWe are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, plant safety, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be critical in managing preventive and corrective maintenance while optimizing team performance.
Shift & Schedule- Shift: 2nd
- Hours: 2 pm - 10:30 pm (Sun - Thurs) (Fri and Sat off)
- Weekend Availability:Required
Compensation- Salary Range: $95,000 - 105,000
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure timely execution of scheduled and unscheduled work.
- Manage and mentor maintenance team members, fostering skill development and high performance.
- Utilize CMMS to track work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment history.
- Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical downtime and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for plant facilities and equipment.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to align maintenance schedules with operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in maintenance operations, preferably in an automated food processing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and preventive maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CMMS.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required in a manufacturing setting.
- Must possess a set of basic standard sized hand tools necessary for maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: screwdrivers (flathead and Phillips), adjustable wrench, pliers, socket set, tape measure, hammer, and a basic electrical meter.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)- Post-secondary education or technical certifications in maintenance or engineering.
- Experience managing contractors and capital projects.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies and systems.
- Valid driver's license and applicable local/state certifications (if required).
- Familiarity with KPIs and maintenance performance metrics.
