Full Job Description
We have an immediate career opportunity for a Supervisor, AI and Data Analytics with a strong foundation in data analytics, AI-enabled insights, and process automation. This role serves as a strategic leader for a team of analysts and is the key link between operations, trade compliance, customs brokerage, finance, and IT teams, driving the transformation of clearance processes through data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute the analytics and AI roadmap for clearance operations aligned with business and compliance priorities.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Finance, and IT to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Prioritize and manage a portfolio of analytics, AI, and automation projects to deliver measurable business value.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights
  • Oversee analysis of operational and financial data to support business decisions and long-term strategy.
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics and executive dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership, translating complex analytics into clear business actions.
AI, Predictive Analytics & Automation
  • Lead the development and scaling of AI/ML models (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, risk scoring) to optimize clearance performance.
  • Champion intelligent automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, workflow automation) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Drive implementation of Generative AI use cases to enhance reporting, document processing, and decision support.
Data Engineering & Model Operations
  • Establish best practices for data governance, quality, reproducibility, and version control.
  • Own KPIU models include monitoring, performance tracking, and retraining.
  • Partner with IT and data engineering teams to productionize and scale analytics solutions.
Process Improvement & Business Impact
  • Drive root cause analysis of service incidents using advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
  • Lead cross-functional programs to enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Governance, Compliance & AI Ethics
  • Ensure adherence to DHL's data governance, privacy, and Responsible AI standards.
  • Oversee documentation, model governance, and audit readiness for analytics and AI solutions.
  • Partner with compliance teams to ensure alignment with global trade regulations through data validation and monitoring.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or related field, with leadership or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • This position requires access to secured airport areas. Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, which includes passing a criminal history records check, fingerprinting, and meeting all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Candidates must be able to provide all documentation necessary to support the badging process.
