Supervisor 1

Position Overview:

Supervise and efficiently manage hourly personnel in assigned areas of responsibility in a safe and compliant manner. Responsible for producing a quality product in a timely and safe manner.

Location:

On-site in Erwin, Tennessee.

Your Day to Day as a Supervisor 1 in Fuel Operations Management:

1. Studies and understands the applicable requirements, labor contract, procedures, and equipment utilized in the work area.

2. Trains and assigns hourly personnel to work to ensure that safe practices and correct job requirements are performed.

3. Reports equipment malfunctions, procedural deviations, absenteeism, accidents, and/or other unusual occurrences.

4. Prepares minor work orders and coordinates applicable work under major work orders and Radiation Work Permits.

5. Reviews/approves applicable records, runsheets, and/or other documentation in the work area.

6. Completes applicable reports and provides other information as requested.

7. Administers disciplinary action when required and addresses inadequate performance issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:

One year of college Chemistry or Physics.

One to two years experience in a chemical or nuclear facility OR one to two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or military environment.

Ability and willingness to work any shift, including work shift rotations and weekend shifts

Pay: $70,000 - $103,000

The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $70,000 and $103,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
