The opportunityThe Resource Management (RM) Supervising Associate is a member of the EY Canada Resource Management team supporting Consulting. The RM Supervising Associate provides functional support to the Consulting RM Leader/Sub Service Line (SSL) RM Leads.

Your key responsibilitiesAs an RM Supervising Associate, you will be responsible for supporting deployment; development; and capacity management of Consulting client-serving professionals. You will be responsible for reporting requirements to effectively deploy client-serving professionals and provide them with meaningful career experiences. You'll receive regular supervision to set appropriate priorities.
Deployment:- Support Consulting RM SSL Leads in addressing complex scheduling assignments.
- Regularly review CRM/pipeline data to proactively match resources to committed deals/highly probable pursuits
- Conduct skill and bio/CV searches that focuses on matching project need(s) with required skills, development opportunities and project risk.
- Assist with the creation/maintenance of accurate personnel and client project schedules.
- Proactively identify resources that will become availability in short term (i.e. next 2-3 weeks)
- Proactively monitor and highlight unassigned resources in order to minimize unassigned time
- Regularly communicate material schedule changes to the RM SSL Lead(s)
- Communicate regularly with the Resource Management team on the status of staffing requirements
Teaming:- Demonstrate effective teaming with RM team(s) by proactively/creatively responding to requests.
- Involved in ad hoc projects as required (i.e. task forces, reporting, process improvement committees, training manuals etc.)
- Identify ways to improve Resource Management processes
- Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the Resource Management function and operating model
- Partner with the Talent Team (i.e. HR) on Performance Management initiatives
- Actively supports Resource Management enablers including ProFinda; EYA; EY Discover; SuccessFactors, Mercury, etc.
- Work with peers across the Canadian RM team by contributing to RM priorities; task forces; and/or projects
- Provide effective coaching/mentoring to assigned counselees/direct reports (when assigned)
Reporting: - Act as a subject matter resource on RM tools/enablers
- Assist with the creation of Service Line; Market and/or Competency reporting including utilization performance; forecasts; variance analysis; and capacity management analytics
- Create reports and pivot tables for deployment data
To qualify for the role, you must have:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience staffing consulting professionals or roles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in other Microsoft applications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French-language skills are an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and the ability to resolve issues promptly
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and confident working independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Three to five years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a professional services firm is an asset

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
- Toronto/London/Ottawa/Waterloo/Vancouver/Victoria: $77,200 to $115,800
- Dieppe: $69,600 to $104,400
