Summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Orange County is seeking an Interiors Superintendent with a project history background in corporate office or hospitality Interiors. The Superintendent is responsible for all field operations, including the coordination of subcontractors' work. Responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of Safety/Zero Harm program for the job site, supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work. Shares responsibility with the project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. Manages and mentors assistant superintendents and other field personnel.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ten years or more of Interiors commercial construction field experience.
  • Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
  • Previous or current Interiors commercial construction experience in a Superintendent role required.
  • Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
  • Ability to read plans and specs.
  • Scheduling experience sequence using software application.
  • Project history background in corporate office or hospitality Interiors required for this role.

Preferred Experience
  • Local qualified candidates highly encouraged to apply.
  • Tier 1 Interiors construction backgrounds, very helpful for this role.

The base compensation range for the role of Superintendentin Santa Ana, CA posted above is $120,000 to $160,000 annually.

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
